Overview of justice in the
western world. A travel show that demonstrates how justice is
a traveling woman, beginning in 2200 BC to tomorrow and how she
has ruled in the most developed civilizations of the world. Lectures
uses quotations, slides, history, philosophy, religion, mythology,
astrology focusing on the principal that it is the quality of
the people that determine the quality of the civilization.

This lecture will focus on the Mosaic Code and democracy in classical
Greece. The Mosaic code was the first truly judicial written
code, encompassing humanism, its passion for justice, love of
democracy that laid the groundwork for the work of the prophets
and their teachings of social justice. The form of democracy
born in classical Greece with Athens as the power center, created
a culture that produced some of the world's greatest thinkers
and emphasized the importance of harmony among people. Both traditions
influenced democracy in the western world.
